Beneath the bark lies a battleground! In "The Fungal Frontier," grow your roots deep, fortify with fungal turrets, and fend off the beetle horde.
Click on a root node to open the build menu
Click and drag from the build menu to create roots and root node
Create root nodes ontop of water pockets to get extra water.
Protect your roots as you descend to the giant water pocket!

This is really well done! It's satisfying looking back at all the earlier roots after you've built farther down.
this is a REALLY neat concept, it's like a tower defense in the same way mushrooms are like plants (not at all), I really like how you're building down laterally, gives a good sense of progression and takes advantage of the connected roots system, both works well with the jams theme and is an interesting twist on dispersing units; great work!
